What are gift baskets? 

Gift baskets are filled with gourmet foods (items that are not massed produced and readily available in stores) but can also include gift items such as books, candles, bath items, music (CD's or tapes), that are elegantly wrapped & presented to the recipient as a gesture of good will. They have steadily grown in popularity in the last twenty years &  replaced flowers as a gift giving alternative for various occasions & holidays including gifts to welcome new babies, sympathy gifts, and Valentines Day gifts.   Gift baskets can also be themed by holidays, events, and hobbies such as "Over the Hill", "Golf", "Coffee Lovers", "Fisherman", or Regional gifts such as our very own " Rocky Mountain Hello" which is an assortment of 'made in Colorado' gourmet foods & gift items.  Although we have a standard line of most requested gifts. Gift baskets can be customized to fit the budget or special requests of the buyer.  

This is my first time ordering a gift basket, what information is needed to place an order?

Please have the following information available to place an order: sender's information including name, billing address, credit card number, and telephone number. Recipient's information including name, address, and telephone number, and the message for the card. Messages should be anywhere between 1-3 sentences, if longer & for accuracy, if the order is taken by phone,  the customer service representative will request the message to be emailed or faxed.   Please note, it is imperative that we have the recipient's telephone number.  

Is Delivery Available? 

Delivery is available locally to the the Denver metro area. Delivery charges are in addition to gift charges and will be confirmed during time of order. For more information regarding delivery please visit sending your gifts. 

Do you make custom baskets?

A Basket Wrap specializes in custom gifts. We can customize one gift or 300 gifts.  Although not a personal shopper, we have an extensive amount of inventory to fit your budget & theme.  Starting prices for custom baskets are $75.00 and the sky is the limit!  Please call for custom multi-baskets orders. We have lower pricing for multi-gifting programs (20 or more gifts). Please speak with your gift consultant regarding your budget.

What is the Difference between a custom basket and customizing my gift?

The difference between customizing and custom baskets is quite simple. To customize a gift basket,  a customer can request that certain items are removed and replaced for another item of choice.  As long as the cost of the replaced item is the same, the basket price stays the same.  A customer cannot asked that items be removed from a gift to receive a lower cost. Requests to replace with more expensive items will result in a higher gift cost and the customer will be advised of the difference in cost at the time the order is placed.   A custom basket is when a customer wants a totally different gift basket than what is offered on our site, either for a special occasion or for a particular theme.   Custom basket may require that we purchase additional items for a particular gift.  We do not offer same day service for custom baskets which requires additional items to purchase. 

What do you accept as a form of payment?

We  accept  the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, & American Express. We also accept  PayPal as a method of payment.  Buyer must be registered with PayPal first before attempting to purchase.  We cannot accept checks or money orders as a payment for gift services. 

How do I pay by PayPal?

If you haven't already done so, set up an account with PayPal. This process can take anywhere between 3-5 business days but well worth it because PayPal is increasingly becoming a payment option for  e-commerce sites.  It is also FREE to the consumer.  Once your account has been set up, return to our site and simply click the gift which you are interested and fill in the information requested by our cart.  When you arrive to the payment option, click PayPal and it will automatically total the amount in your cart and prompt you to log into your PayPal account where you can send payment to A Basket Wrap.  Please note *** A Basket Wrap will only ship or deliver gifts when we received notification that payment from PayPal has been received.

Where do you ship?

A Basket Wrap ships across town or  across the country.   You may opt to have your gift shipped to a business or residence. We do not ship to PO Boxes.  We are not responsible for orders shipped to  hotels/hospitals in the event the recipient has checked out  while the gift is in transit.  It is the buyer's responsible to ensure that the recipient will be at the location where the gift is being delivered or shipped. For more information regarding our shipping policy, click here.

Why do you charge sales taxes?

We are obligated by law to collect sales tax for orders sent to states where we maintain a ‘substantial business presence.’ Currently sales tax is charged for any orders placed or sent to the state of Colorado. 

What are your hours for toll free customer service?

You may place your order at 1-866-833-5351, M-Th, and Fridays from 9:00am-12pm MT (business hours are subject to change.)  Please have the following information available: For recipient - name, address, and telephone number. We will also ask you to provide your name, address, telephone number, credit card information, and credit card billing address.
